Yoooooooooooooooo!!!! Super SaLLoot and Shout out to my bro Vic-Lo The Barbarian aka Thirstin Howl the 3rd modeling the re-release of the Snow Beach Collection by Ralph Lauren. Thirstin Howl is the Co-Founder of the Lo-Lifes street gang that originated in Brooklyn, NY in 1988. The crew focus was to steal and possess as much Polo by Ralph Lauren as possible. The Snow Beach collection was released originally in 1995 and was made famous on a global scale when rapper Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan wore the pullover in the music video for the song "Can It Be All so Simple" with Polo dampening sales and low stocks. The company decided to take it's marketing too the streets to drive sales and give new life to the brand.
I know this has to be a surreal moment for my Lo-Life brother. These are the things we would talk and dream about in the hood. Anyone from Brooklyn would say time after time Ralph needs to get Lo-Lifes to model the line because they were the real Poloroids, they are the ones that made the brand a household name in the hip-hop community. This post is just to show anyone reading it that dreams are possible. This to show you that you can take a negative to a positive and to never give up. You never know!
